A Downward Spiral

Parent’s have forgotten how to say no, and how to let go.  It is a growing problem that is going to affect future generations and the world in general.  If parents keep letting their own kids walk all over them and get whatever they want these kids will never learn what respect is and never get anywhere in their lives.  It is something that is very important to learn and teach and without the world will collapse as nothing will ever get done.  Kids need to understand where they are on the food chain.  Another reason why parents have to do more strict parenting

The first way that kids can be more independant is to know their place in the world.  It is a growing culture for children to think that they just get whatever they want when they want it and parents are just letting it happen because other parents are doing it as well and with society becoming so soft it has become a common belief that even shouting at your children is child abuse.  That is why I see little 3 year olds on their parents phones on the train or bus playing games or watching videos out loud with their parents just letting them and showing no discipline at all.  Of course technology plays a big role in this generation of pushovers but parents have to show some resilience.  Kids should not get nor do they deserve what most of them seem to be getting.

It used to be that if you worked hard, you were rewarded well which is why everyone worked their tail off and got things done.  In a way that is how the world was formed.  People worked as much as they could to get what they wanted which almost always brought success.  That success was then spread and created more success, more discoveries and hard work in order for people to keep their jobs.  More products were made, more buildings were built, and the world developed into the magnificent place it is.

According to my research 98% of harvard students study for an average of 5 hours per day every day of the school year in order to graduate and have a job as soon as they graduated.  They worked so hard because that is how they were taught and what they were forced to do at a young age.  Judging by the level of effort and discipline and respect these new generation have I think that only 50% or less of students at a top university such as harvard will do 5 hours of studying per day.

We are heading down a dark path that we look like we cannot turn back from as most of the world is growing up with platinum spoons and forks in their mouths.  One day the world will be run by small rude americans and brits who cannot look away from their phone for more than 2 seconds and hire anyone for any job who got an average of a B from a mediocre college.  In my honest opinion in 50 years the kind of problems that will come from these incapable dumb people are the ones that will kill our earth the most.
